Sophia Katz of Ascent Classical Academy of Douglas County has been named a 2023 Daniels Scholar. To be considered for this award, Sophia had to complete an initial application, submit a written essay, and complete a round of interviews before being selected to receive this competitive and prestigious scholarship. Of receiving this award, Katz says: 

“This scholarship is a huge blessing to my family and it goes to show that you can achieve great things when you simply put in the work.”
